Zoe Tyson is a fifth generation Texan who grew up in the great city of Austin.

At eighteen, Zoe moved across the country to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University, graduating with honors and a BFA in Acting. Post grad, Zoe made her feature film debut as a bikini-clad hussy in Stephen Cone’s queer indie film hit Henry Gambles Birthday Party, and made her television debut on Shameless shortly after; screaming and pouring a slushy on a teens head at a public pool.

After growing weary of dark, bourbon-filled bars, and the dark, bourbon-filled men inside them, Zoe relocated to Los Angeles. In between killing literally all of her plants, and buying new ones to kill later, Zoe’s found joy in creating characters and producing her own work; she co-founded Lower The Bar, where she wrote, produced, and starred in many shorts and web content before branching out further. Zoe recently wrapped production on her first self-produced short film Self Tape.

Zoe’s most recent feature film work can be seen in Numa Perriers’ racy and seductive Jezebel – which had its world premiere at SXSW in 2019 before being distributed on Netflix by Array in 2020.

Zoe currently resides in Los Angeles with her partner Ryan and their doodle mix son, Wally. She is represented by Ad Astra Management and Stewart Talent Chicago.
